About Us

Gill Temple is the Founder of Nannies of the Cotswolds.  She has a  BA (Hons) in Integrated working with Families and Children. Gill has 20 years of experience as a childcare practitioner, Deputy Manager and Manager at a number of pre-schools.  She is also a private nanny to a few select families.

With a great passion for creative play, children's literature, nature, art and early years learning, she has been able to provide a service that aids development through these avenues using play as the foundation.

Gill's philosophy is centred around the importance of the individual needs of children, and acknowledges that parents know their children best. It is as a result of this philosophy that she and her colleagues believe in listening to ‘the voice of the child’ and responding in positive ways to care for them.

Wanting to encourage children to develop their imagination, lateral thinking, and a love of literacy, she created Nannies of the Cotswolds – a team of hand-picked individuals who share her passion and drive for curating a creative and well-developed next generation.
